| March 8 as International Women's Day was established by the United Nations in 1975 to recognize and honor women for their contributions to their communities. It is celebrated every year all over the world. |
| International Women's Day celebration will take place on March 12, 2011, 2 - 4 pm, at American Intercontinental University, 2250 N. Commerce Parkway, Weston. AAUW Weston and Women's Professional Staff Association of Cleveland Clinic Florida will be organizing this event. We'll honor women who are helping women and girls. |
